Conveyor Belt Flights

Profiles are generally of PVC or PU extrusion and suitable for food use. We use a modern H.F. welding process as well as traditional hot gun welding to attach the flights onto the conveyor belt at any pitch, from a minimum of 55 mm to any height up to a maximum of 75mm, dependant on customer specification.

Using a solid Polyurethane or PVC flight will help resist fraying at the belt edges. We also supply a heavy-duty reinforced flight for tougher applications. Please call for further information on these products.

Conveyor Belt Side Walls

Conveyor belts equipped with profiles are used for the inclined conveying of bulk goods and smaller items. Profiles are available in various shapes and sizes, and in some cases can be supplied as roll material. Sidewall profiles are often used in conjunction with lateral profiles, containing bulk goods within the pockets of the belt.

Belt Edge Sealing

Belt edge sealing prevents oil, grease, water, foreign bodies and bacteria from penetrating the belt. At the same time, it increases the service life of the conveyor belt in question. This additional protection can be applied to virtually every “two ply” P.U and P.V.C belt. Edge sealing processes ensure enhanced hygiene and safety in food production, as edges of conveyor belts are sealed.

This innovative process prevents oil, grease, moisture and bacteria from penetrating the conveyor belt from the sides, or pieces of fluff from the tension member protruding and getting into the food conveyed.
